Meet representatives from some of the important organisations involved with nature recovery in Surrey and talk to them about what they are doing to help bring wildlife home.

And, book tickets to our main event, Wild Walks, an original piece of theatre produced and directed by Guildford Shakespeare Company.

Wild Walks

In Wild Walks, serious messages about nature conservation are brought to life by a host of wild creatures and delivered through an exciting blend of modern language and Shakespeare’s prose in this family-friendly, interactive, outdoor, promenade performance about nature recovery in Surrey.

Build a den with a dormouse, rescue a newt from a crayfish, negotiate with a nightingale and treasure hunt for a butterfly’s favourite flower in a series of audience participatory scenes. All designed to bring to life the concept of habitat restoration in an engaging, easy-to-understand way.

The performance has been created in collaboration with Surrey Nature Recovery, to draw attention to, and educate young people and grown-ups alike, about the forthcoming Local Nature Recovery Strategy consultation in Surrey.

Surrey Nature Day is a free event but pre-booking is essential. Use this link to book your tickets. Please note, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
